Yes - what kelvren said. Β The wallpaper version of this was the first pony picture I saved onto my computer, back in 2011 when I was just getting into the fandom. Β Back then I hadn't even seen all of the episodes in Season 1 yet, and I wondered if this was what would happen in the finale! Β But I always loved this picture, and I always wanted to know the artist who created it... I'm so glad to have found out, at last. Β Everything, from the look of regret on Twilight's face to the fading light in the background, it's all so subtle, yet so powerful... a true work of art.

I'm glad I finally found the original of this. I have this as a wallpaper I got from a friend of mine, and it always bugged me that I've never seen where it came from, and I kept looking around (I admit not as thoroughly as I could have) for the source image so I could congratulate the artist.
This is a beautiful image, and I really love the muted colors and slight melancholy it shows. I just wanted to thank you for your beautiful art, and I wish more places would source images they use so the artists could get the credit they deserve.

This is probably horribly belated, and I apologize for that, but I just wanted you to know how beautiful I found this image. How beautiful, you ask? Well, a story that I've written on www.Fimfiction.net, Quantum Castaways ([link] ) has used this image as the coverart for just under a year now.
I apologize for not securing permission before using it. I admit, I was looking for an image of Twilight alone, slightly pensive, maybe a little sad, and I did so doing a google search. For the record, I have always noted you as the source, linking to this specific archive of the image.
I want you to know that this picture has become what I see when I think about Quantum Castaways, a story that I have put a significant amount of my own heart and soul into. I see, in it, a Twilight who knows she has a long way to go before she will see her home again, represented by the tiny image of Canterlot in the distance. She is caught in midstep, just a momentary consideration of what is being left behind. I like to think that it is just a split second before resolve fills her expression, and she girds herself for the journey ahead.
Wow. Just... wow. Thank you very much for making an image that speaks of the story in my heart.

I love the landscape,but Itmakes me sad. I love the form of the clouds and the dark part on the picture.
It looks like that she escape from ponyville and canterlot maybe she has done something very bad or something like that. We can see on the mountain a castle, I suppose canterlot.
