Why do I love this so much? Such a dark, dreary piece. A fantastic twist on normal MLP art. The detail is impeccable as well. And Twilight, poor lil pony looks so sad I just wanna give her a nice big hug <3

I don't think you understand just how amazingly awesome this image is. I think you filled it with so much of your innate amazing that you haven't noticed yet how much win you indued it with.

This is some of my favorite FiM fanart to date! The composition is elegant, and the color scheme is full of evocative emotion. Love the shine on the mountain, and the sweep of the clouds, and how you have subtlety worked the cartoon art style into your own without losing either. It is neat to see demonstrated what level pony fanart can reach.

This is awesome. It's kind of reminiscent of something John Howe might draw for a Lord of the Rings book cover. Canterlot really gives off a Minas Tirith vibe here, for sure; not surprising considering Lauren Faust has said that was the inspiration for it, and the style you've used here is perfect to bring it out.
I hope the non-compressed version will be a bit higher-res, and perhaps more suitable for use as a wallpaper. I'd love to have this on my desktop!
