More expansion on my weird headcanon/fanon/whatever...I'm curious to see Part II to see how many of my ideas will loose their footing. It won't bother me if Part II makes my idea canonically impossible... Because really, it's turned into a lovely creative exercise, and I'm just having fun doing it.
Plus... I just love villains...
I imagine Disqord's personality to be like "Q" and Dukat (both from Star Trek) put together... So basically: A sadistic, thoughtful, passionate, calculating, mischievous--bastard.

This is absolutely brilliant. The artwork is perfect, especially in the way it gets messier and more abstract as it goes on, representing Discord's fall into chaos.

actualy, you probably know this, but the voice actor for Discord is Q from star trek. Kinda funny how alike the two characters are really. xD

The show has already had one huge Star Trek reference (the parasprites)... so it doesn't surprise me at all that Disqord is similar to Q with John de Lancie at the helm.

I think Discord has to be my favorite villain EVER! His evil hilarity never stops! He does have quite the sense of humor after all, & it surprises me by just how evil he can actually be.

It's funny how the both big villains we've seen in MLP:FiM are anything but what they look like at first.
Nightmare Moon looked the part of the Dark Queen and seemed like the perfect Evil Overlord, out to destroy Equestria with her Eternal Night... but when you get to it, she's just a demigoddess throwing an immature temper tantrum, and trying to force everybody to love her and appreciate her beautiful night.
Discord looks goofy and seems like a playful trickster spirit, challenging the Mane Six into a game over the Elements of Harmony... but when you get to it, it's just a deception covering his attack on them. He tricks them into entering the labyrinth and playing his rigged game, then separates them, brainwashes them with sadistic tricks and brute-force magics, and cheats doing so, all so that he can turn Equestria into a chaotic hodgepodge of randomness and misery for shits and giggles.
