This has been done with one of the pictures i have made of myself ''sleeping'' on my bed ... I KNEW IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD FOR SOMETHING, YEAH.I really have a bomb of creativity exploding lately, i just cant stop messing with my Wacom <3 so yup... again its 2:29 AM and Im about to go to bed (Im trying to go to bed sooner, now) and I thought it would have been nice to draw Human Lithium on ''her'' bed...
Im planning dying my hair purple again, but ... im lazy, and its hard to find a place where both Ariane and ~Eeveemetal are able to be free ^^ one day, one day, im not stressing.
SO YEAH dont you see im getting better with lighting/shadows? im proud of myself with the coloring job on this, and im glad Lith doesnt look fat like some other draiwngs i tried to draw with a ref just like i did with this.

what a fantastic piece. I love what you did with the colors, and the extremely subtle lighting that adds such incredible depth, and just makes the whole thing pleasurable and mysterious. The shadows and highlights are not only subtle, but detailed, which brings Lith even more to life... as she's lying in her bed. It's that contrast that keeps me staring at this deviation of yours.
I also love the colors you chose, from the pillow to the wall. My only critique would be that the squiggles on the wall lose some of their randomness when they get close to her body as some of them follow her shape a little too close and too long. It's really minor; if you want to avoid that in the future, I recommend you use photoshop or something to make Lith's layer invisible, just so you can work on the backround without worry about coloring her in. It might help if you make a different, temporary layer with her outline, so you're not working in the dark either.
This is really fantastic, Ms. Squirrel. You've done a hell of a job. I love this.
