Rui and Lily about 4-5 years before XD.If you're wondering who Lily is, she's Michael's mother from Pokemon XD.
Basically, Rui founded the Pokemon HQ Lab, she is Lily's distant cousin (When I say 'distant', I absolutely mean it o_o), and they worked together in the Lab. Rui left a lil' after they started working on the Pokemon Purification Chamber, for a mysterious reason
That's just my lil' opinion bridging Colosseum to XD.
I have the full summary on my website, but that was basically what I ment on there.
Now about the prcedure of coloring the picture:
Hee! I'm getting to like Photoshop very much.
I'm practicing cell shading techniques from profesionals I find EVERYWHERE 'round DA, and some web galleries I found off of google.I know I messed up on the shine on Lily's hair ~_~; Urrrgh... I got ticked after putting it there, but then I left it since I didn't want to go through too much trouble.
The Pen Tool is you're friend.

I'll read your summary, but I am thinking of the mysetious reasn for leaving Poke HQ *cough pregnant/ Wes...*cough, and wish to see more Collo XD fanart from you, as it has a lot of potential. You made their noses (squint eyes) look so cute, but I distictly remember Lily having a bigger forehead then that.. Still, good work...

The shine is messed up, but it isn't too bad. I like your logic behind Rui deciding to work there, and all. I really like their poses here, and how you did their outfits. They're so cute!

Oh, I LOVE your theory on how Pokemon Colosseum and XD are connected! I never thought THAT much about it, really... But I like your idea that Lily and Rui are cousins, and that Rui founded the lab. ^^ Does Wes have something to do with why Rui left mysteriously? ^^ Hehe, I love stories. Very creative!

It's Michael's Japanese name. I refuse to call him that... it's just such a common name that I'd easily get it mixed up with a whole bunch of other Michaels I know. Heck, my school's name even has the word 'Michael' in it... XD
