Photoshop + intuos3.I have the Colossus coming up out of the rift, figured there wasn't enough space below to descend. He's pretty big.
My original idea was to have a monster that started off solid and then being translucent as it went up to the sky so that it started to blend with the stars. This is what I came up with.
