You know, despite the obvious unfinished state of Blood II, some of the new guns that aren’t “standard FPS guns” were cool. Plus, at one point, the Singularity Generator had an alt-fire (which was removed during a post-release update, unfortunately). Not too often that you see something BFG-caliber with an alt-fire.

I wish they could at least mend plot holes during events of Blood 2, especially during Nightmare levels (I mean Why Gabriel is Gabriella? Why Ophelia's past looks like straight outta 60s etc)

A possible in-story explanation for the anachronisms in the flashbacks is that the characters’s original memories have faded too much, forcing the Nightmare to use images of the modern world to construct its imaginary world, in which the Chosen would relive their past. Incidentally, Lani Manella (the woman who voiced both Ophelia & Gabriella in Blood II: The Chosen) was also the voice of Colette Green in Haλf-Life 1 Expansion Pack 3: Decay, in case the voice sounded familiar depending on which of those 2 games you played 2nd.

I know. She is like Grey DeLisle of game world. And this explanation looks logical enough. Still I'm so dissapointed that Blood's universe is mostly forgotten for now. (Or maybe it's a good thing - nobody will ruin it like they did to CnC or HoMM universe after Westwood's and NWC's demise).
