It's thirty minutes past my curfew, I'm tired as heck, and I'm submitting this. Darn me and my addiction to the power of submissions (how oh so ironic).Anyways, these are what I think are personified versions of VHS Cassettes, living in the underground Vaults ever since the aristocratic DVD Discs and their superiors the HD Systems took over the world of Tell-a-vision.
The VHS Cassettes plan on going up against the DVD's to reclaim their once-was title in television and film.
Would you look at that. I made up a plot right on the dial and I had no idea what the hell this was at first.
And now I won't be able to sleep tonight.

it sounds like a tragedy.. because the VHS tapes won't win.. as all the classics are being re-vamped into Blu-Rays and DVD's and the world moves into its 3-Dimensional age... only those rare compassionate souls we call "collectors" purchase the poor VHS's for thousands...

Next to the tv in my room, there's a crapload of VHS'. They live there.
I love them. I still watch them.
Stab me for this if you want, but there was this one bit on The Simpsons where Mexican film strips were having a party until DVD cops ("LOS DVDS!") came and started shooting.
Just felt like that seemed to fit.

My cousin has this HUGE wall of vhs-goodness but their vhs player keeps eating their tapes.
They have a blu-ray player too.
Their living room is like a tv graveyard. There's so many lost and rotting in there.

Yeah, just have the rebel leader of the Casettes called Tape (who is actually a personified version of a broken and taped-up videocassette) and the HD dictator Memory (based on memory storage) head-to-head in a combat nightmare.

My friend had never seen it, so when she was over at my house, I got out my V!H!S! and MADE her watch it. ("It will save your soul!")
I also shoved Death Becomes Her (you would like it) and The Frighteners (you would also like it. Call me insane, but Michael J. Fox is HOTT. And there's a crazy in it. Several crazies.) down her throat.
She liked it.

I destroyed VHS tapes as a child.
Not all of them. Just toy story.
And not completely, but I won't say that I didn't regret it still. The last ten minutes of it is just fuzzy.
I pulled all the tape out to see what was inside.
