“The majority of Hell is a burning nightmare. The countless factories and power generators build up a level of heat that no living human could survive. This is true for most of the realm, at least. In some corners, whether it be lands unconquered or facilities left derelict, a silent cold occupies the pitch black corridors within their structures. And places like these can sometimes invite forms of demon kind that prefer to enact their dark work without hellfire.

A foil to the archaic Boiler demons thrive in these hollow watelands. The digital souls that sometimes escape the brutal technology that Hell uses to torment them will instincitvely flee to the parts of hell they feel are the safest. Many of these unfortunate wandering minds mistake the cool and silent ruins for places of respite. It is often all too late once the victims have realized just how equally brutal an abomination of ice can be.

The Cryoliege ice demons are yet to face the mortal world (and best be grateful for the time being) as the call to war does not reach their powerless domains. Until they learn of the throat of worlds torn open by the Dark machine, the Cryolieges will continue to do whatever they desire to the frozen souls rendered helpless and at mercy.”
