Description
"In the heart of the dark fortress, a great black tower influences Hell's dark clouds in a swirling vortex around it. At the top of this tower, where a fiery glow can be seen from across all connected segments of the realm, is where the Council of Sin performs their work. Within and without the tower, the Council Guards are sworn to protect their masters at all costs.Their loyalty is so ingrained that one might have trouble deciphering if these Guards have any will of their own. The answer may not even matter; the ferocity in their duty is palpable all the same.
These walking weapons are the closely kept dagger of Hell's sovereignty. These Guards will always be seen accompanying the Council when they depart from their tower and across the dark world surrounding it. When opposition to the Council's rule makes itself present and personal, the Guards are the first to act, and most often, the trouble is dealt with before the Council needs to dirty their claws.
They share the strength and towering stature of most Demon Lords. Each Council Guard is empowered with a robust energy battery that powers the devastating blasts from their cannon. The energy supplied to this cannon can also generate a large force field around it's user and those it protects, preventing any form of projectile from entering, yet allowing all means of internal attacks to launch outward.
A common offensive maneuver is to manipulate some of this energy into tangible pitchforks that Council Guards will lance into their opposition, only to generate an entirely new one moments after.
Much of this energy is provided by the presence of the Council directly, meaning these Guards would become significantly weaker if separated from their masters. This may even be one of the incentives for such immense loyalty; their power held in check and at the mercy of the Council's wanderings.
But the Council is not wandering currently. They are here in the tower that lies before you. You are minutes away from coming face to face with Hell's elites."
