Now don't get me wrong, i love Dr. Eggman, however if its a choice who i like more between Eggman and Robotnik (Aosth or SatAm and even Underground), then i pretty much HATE Dr. Eggman! XDRobotnik has got to be my most Favorite Video Game/Cartoon Villain ever! Dr. Eggman is kinda cool for trying to upgrade the "classic eggman/robotnik" design, but he should have never replaced the True Dr. Julian Ivo Robtnik!
All Eggman seems to be reduced to at the end of most of the newer sonic games, is realizing that there is an even bigger threat to the world compared to him, and then helps sonic defeat it, and usually its his own Fault that more powerful threat even exists to begin with! XP I.E. :
-Sonic Adventure
-Sonic Adventure 2 battle
-Sonic Heroes
-Shadow the Hedgehog (partially, since he didn't create black shadow the Alien)
-Sonic Unleashed (he caused the "bigger threat" but didn't actually help sonic stop it! XP )
and that's all i can think of for now! Anyway, I'd like to know just who out there likes Robotnik more and who likes Eggman more, and give a short reason! XD

Okay, MOST of the games. But, you do realized that SoA did design both designs? SoJ already claimed the one with "glasses", so SoA has to go back to the drawing board.

Good question, I'm not too sure. It doesn't seem like it in the more recent games but I haven't played many of them personally so I'm only going based in the little I know. XD lost worlds had eggman controlling a group of monsters, which he looses control of thanks to sonic, and it seems he won't entirely be the main threat in the new sonic boom. Height have been the major threat if sonic colors but I never played it do I'm not do sure about that. XD

Eggman from the original source material is the better villain. He doesn't overly obsessive to the point of overlooking to some important factors in an effortΒ to concentrate on an important goal. Original Eggman almost killed Sonic on more than one occasion. (Sonic 1, 2, CD, 3 & Knuckles, Adventure 1 & 2, Sonic Battle, Unleashed, and Generations) And unlike TMS/Sonic X's Eggman, Original Eggman doesn't care for Sonic.

Well, what has Julian Robotnik done? He sent bounty hunters to do the work for him, whereas Eggman would often come to stop Sonic himself.
Robotnik's best creations were Scratch & Grounder. Eggman made Metal Sonic, The Egg Emperor, The Death Egg, and several powerful machines.
Robotnik throws a fit when his plans are foiled. Eggman gets on with his life and makes a new plan. Eggman is dedicated.
Even though both of them fail a lot in their plots, Eggman shows real dedication. You blow up the Death Egg, he survives. You destroy his Egg Mobile when it is submerged in lava, he survives. You see Chaos destroy his Egg Carrier 2. He survives. Every time you defeat him in his egg mobile, he gets a face full of explosions...and survives, and is still ready to go another round with another machine. Nothing can kill Eggman. He is the Sonic world equivalent of Chuck Norris. Yes, I went there

That's complete Bullshit right there. Where it is true that Dr. Robotnik often stole other inventions, along with many other things, he actually came up with Tons of his own creations. XP
Even though 90% time relied on having Scratch, Grounder or rarely Coconuts to get the job done only to have it fail because of them.
And at the same time, there were plenty of occasions that Dr. Robotnik himself would first hand be on the scene of his crimes.

You're mixing up your Robotniks here. I'm talking about the SatAM Robotnik, the one they inexplicably renamed Julian, the one that always gets compared to Eggman from teh games. Everything he had he just stole from more capable scientists, like Uncle Chuck. And he was lazy, too, always preferring to let his robots or Snivelly take care of things, which no other Robotnik ever did, they at least attempted to personally halt Sonic permanently.
Adventures Robonik was even more harmless than Eggman.

I went back and looked through all the 277 comments i have on this submission(Proudly, My most controversial image so far!) and you had originally only said;

Not in anyway being specific about who eggs-actly you were talking about. And being that this picture is Aosth Dr. Robobotnik Vs Sega Dr. Eggman, i see how assuming anything of this has to do specifically with SatAm's Dr. Robotnik at all. XP Hence my confusion and otherwise correct original statement when comparing both Aosth Dr. Robotnik and Sega Dr. Eggman.
Not to mention as of your my most newest commenter all the way on page 10 or my comments so far.
And for the record SatAm's Dr. Robotnik was no complete slouch either! The ONLY Invention he truly stole was the original plans for the Robotisizer which I'm sure he most likely made his own improvements over.(Particularly being that he had much later created a stronger version meant specifically for Sonic)
His vast army, weaponry, factories and vehicles were all personally designed and created by none other than himself.

SatAM Eggman is overrated.He is totally unoriginal and in my book,isn't the same as SEGA Eggman.So,yeah,I like Eggman better,he is unique.He fights to take over the universe and build Eggmanland,he has a better personality,actually fights his own battles,whereas Robotnik from SatAM,AoSTH and Underground sends others to do it for him,and took over alien planets(he was successful in doing this,but Sonic stopped him).In my book,Eggman from the classic games is the same as Eggman from the newer games,but different from Robotnik from the shows(except for the Sonic OVA and X).That's all I have to say.

To tell you the truth, I like the old-school Robotnik style better than the modern Eggman style...

Dr. Eggman is the true, original version of the character. He was Eggman immediately from his design stage. 'Robotnik' was a name Sega of America created to Americanize him. The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, SatAM, Sonic the Comic, Sonic Underground and Archie adaptations of the character are just that; adaptations. Not the original, and not different characters, even if multiple versions of him appear in one continuity as different characters, they are all variations of Dr. Eggman from the video games.
Sonic Adventure was just the point where Sega of America finally decided 'let's stop being morons and do this the way it was intended' and started using the proper terms for Eggman and Earth. The redesign was done by Sega because they had new artists who wanted to update the designs. Nothing wrong with that; all animated characters get updated, it's hardly unusual.
Robotnik and Eggman are the same thing, both are the same. Adventures Robotnik is Eggman, Robotnik Prime from SatAM and Archie is Eggman, Robo-Robotnik who becomes Eggman in Archie is Eggman, they're all Eggman. The video game version is the true Dr. Eggman. That's how it is.

The game Eggman is the exact same as the Eggman from the Sonic OVA and Sonic X.That's why I liked them more than Robotnik from the other shows.
