Now don't get me wrong, i love Dr. Eggman, however if its a choice who i like more between Eggman and Robotnik (Aosth or SatAm and even Underground), then i pretty much HATE Dr. Eggman! XDRobotnik has got to be my most Favorite Video Game/Cartoon Villain ever! Dr. Eggman is kinda cool for trying to upgrade the "classic eggman/robotnik" design, but he should have never replaced the True Dr. Julian Ivo Robtnik!
All Eggman seems to be reduced to at the end of most of the newer sonic games, is realizing that there is an even bigger threat to the world compared to him, and then helps sonic defeat it, and usually its his own Fault that more powerful threat even exists to begin with! XP I.E. :
-Sonic Adventure
-Sonic Adventure 2 battle
-Sonic Heroes
-Shadow the Hedgehog (partially, since he didn't create black shadow the Alien)
-Sonic Unleashed (he caused the "bigger threat" but didn't actually help sonic stop it! XP )
and that's all i can think of for now! Anyway, I'd like to know just who out there likes Robotnik more and who likes Eggman more, and give a short reason! XD

i liked robotnik in sonic unleashed, sonic colours and sonic generations because he acted like the original pingas doctor robotnik. I gotta admit this drawing is LEET!

You mean Dr. Eggman in all those games right? XP I've only played Sonic unleashed out of the 3 you mentioned and Dr. Eggman was alright. Not entirely your typical "join sonic to save the world in the end" like he has been for a while.
And he seems a little better in colors. Generation seems kinda lame as far as the story goes, but its not too bad either.
Also its not "Pingas" Robotnik, its Dr. Robotnik from Aosth. XP I HATE it when people refer to Dr. Robotnik from Aosth as "Pingas". XP

I just love the pingas jokes! They're awesome! I agree that in Generations the characters showed about as much personality as Decoe and Bocoe from Sonic X (worst robots ever) but again, Doctor Robotnik (because I refuse to call him Eggman) was the best character. He ended up having an argument with himself. I gotta say though my two favourite Robotniks are certainly the AOSTH and the Modern Era Robotnik

I saw them. I don't consider Dr. Eggman worthy of the Name Robotnik any more. Thus i simple distinguish him as Dr. Eggman and the Real Robotnik, Aosth and SatAm, as being Dr. Robotnik.
Pingas jokes suck balls. They are extremely lame, completely unoriginal and generally just aren't very funny. i can't stand them. XP

I will admit the video was amusing, but the concept is an insult the the Original Aosth fandom. At least it is to me. XP The biggest reason they were so much more better than the new age crap, is because they ARE NOT the new age crap. XP Simply Replacing Dr. Robotnik, Scratch and Grounder for Dr. Eggman and his newdork robots, doesn't make it as awesome as Aosth was. XP
Those are just two different worlds. XP But keep up the work, i'm more than sure that some people will like the idea, i however don't so much. XD I'd Rather see the return of a True Robotnik, than have him replaced by Eggman. XP

I have 3 seasons planned and you will be seeing a 3D incarnation of scratch and grounder in season 2 so I hope that will fetch in a few likes from the AOSTH fanbase. Thanks for the feedback, you may prefer what you see once more is out. For the most part it is a major parody of the modern world with AOSTH spliced in there and you don't really get to see that in the previews but for the most part it is just sonic through the game fanbase's eyes and I'm not sure if AOSTH fans will like it much. I still think it would be much more amazing if you used the Actual Aosth Robotnik, especially if your going to have Scratch and Grounder! XD That would be amazing! =3
But do keep me informed, i believe i'm watching your account so hopefully I'll automatically see any new vids that come out, but then again Youtube is weird these days and i tend not to notice when some people upload new things sadly. XP

AOSTH was always my favourite Robotnik incarnation, however he lacks in the big plans department that made the games so good and I also found his design to be, not the worst, but certainly a hideous Robotnik design. Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts will be returning along side Orbot and Cubot later on so everybody has a little fanboy moment weather they like the show or not. I'm sure you will like and resent it! Lol. You will see Robotnik in his AOSTH uniform but not until much later in the series and not for long either. Also, Happy birthday for 3 days

eh, i still don't like the idea of Eggman replacing Robotnik. Especially having him wear Robotnik's old outfit and commanding Scratch and Grounder. It just seems insulting in a way. Not to mention the fact that Sega tries so hard to "Remake" scratch and grounder through these new Robots, like the two from Sonic X and Sonic Colors. Why have a cheap imitation when you could just have the real thing! XP But like i said it would be a bit degrading to Actually see Scratch and Grounder taking orders from Dr. Eggman. XP

but he's just doctor robotnik with a different outfit in my show, it's not supposed to be insulting, it's just taking the best of each incarnation. Decoe and Bocoe were just plain weak but I don't have a problem with orbot and cubot.

Robotnik, Eggman...technically, both are correct. Call the man whatever you prefer, both are canon.
I agree that by the time Unleashed came out, the plot device of the demon/superweapon/whatever that Dr. Robotnik set loose turning on him...felt pretty dated. Guess that's why I liked Black Knight...no Robotnik whatsoever and tried something new. Still need to play Colors and Generations, though...

First off this drawing was doen Long before that game came out. Secondly if you notice at the very end when Dr. Eggman and Classic Dr. Robotnik where stuck together unable to get back to their worlds, they were constantly fighting each other and blaming one another for their predicament! XD
There can only be One True Robotnik, and my personal favorite shall always be Asoth Dr. Ivo Robotnik!

Are you KIDDING me?! Am I the only one who remembers the opening cutscene from Sonic Unleashed?! THOUSANDS must have died from the quakes and tsunamis created by the Earth's crust splitting into fragments! That's what convinced me that Robotnik from the game series is utterly irredeemable!

I'm sure when the planet was separated it Should have caused massive death counts, but if you noticed, none of the citizens seems to pay much attention to it when you spoke to them. So people must have been fine, On top of that the planet comes back together in the end anyway. The world is magically saved whoo hoo. XP

Having lived all throughout the 90s, I tend to call him 'Robotnik' too. But the thing with Sonic Unleashed...watching that one cutscene break more laws of physics than Michael Bay did in the entire Armageddon movie pushed my suspension of disbelief to the limit! For the life of me I CANNOT believe killer tsunamis and earthquakes never happened, even if they're never mentioned. They had to keep the E10+ rating. XP

You can believe that the planet can break apart and float over its core and yet still function perfectly, yet you can't believe that massive death tolls and natural disasters didn't occur in the process? I think your focusing on the wrong thing here. Its a video game. about anthropomorphic blue hedgehogs with super-human speeds and an evil genius who awakens a planetary "demon" to control the world by breaking it apart....How is any of THAT realistic what so ever? Well, i wouldn't be too sure of that. Robotnik often brags about how he's the smartest or that his plans and machines are the best. He's even known for Self promotions, and awarding himself Medals for his evil genius! XD
Not to mention the biggest arrogance in assuming that he WILL conquer the planet and no one's stopping him, even though sonic always does.

Well yes that is what I've gathered as well, but still it would be nice to suffer through its horridness first hand, rather than simply Assume what everyone says about it is true.
Only seeing first hand about something can you really Know whether all the general word of it is truth or exaggeration.
But I'm not dying to play it because I've seen a lot of the cut scenes and the storyline is kinda horrible to be sure! XD

Don't forget the awful load times and bestiality! You can get it at GameStop.com for the PS3 (the worst version) for 15 bucks, but from what I've heard that's still 25 dollars too much for the game.
