Mr. Butterfly looks a little angry. .______.Just about every Kirby fan has seen this by now, so hopefully I'm not responsible for putting anyone into shock, but... this is Meta Knight's original design before he apparently was given bat wings instead of butterfly wings. I had massive problems with this because of the mask design and wings (where most of my time was spent. 9 hours?! I'd say half of that was spent on making them, and then trying to glue them on. Couldn't find my hot glue gun so the wings are being held down with cheap school glue). I also intensely hate butterflies because of a science project I did a while back. NEVER. EVER. Do butterflies for a periodic table theme.
I want to take a moment to say that actually, this butterfly design really fits the Kirby universe's colorful and happy atmosphere, but if this was the original Meta Knight design, I only wonder how the sprite would have looked. I think the bat-winged Meta Knight was easier to do in sprite form, which was probably why it eventually got picked.
But Sakurai, WHY? Why didn't you use your design for another character at the very least? D:

Well, Dreamland 2 was the first game in which Dark Matter made an official appearance. It was a game made before Gameboy Color existed, so the Rainbow Sword had no color at all, despite being composed of Rainbow Drops.

I don't have a scanner... I still draw though. and write. I'd probably write on dA if it wasn't so confusing... You don't know how tempted I am to make a kirby FF..

I don't think it really matters, as long as you like it. Sometimes (especially with my avatar), I get a little sick of the same thing, so if that's the same with you, then I guess we're on the same boat. :3

That was a crossover, wasn't it? I haven't seen a lot of people get as much readers as they should because crossovers aren't posted on the main pages. They're like, put into a completely different place that not as many people see. Maybe you should try a regular fic to at least get people to notice your work because your writing's good.

I giggled.

My love for him grew.
XD because he would've been even cuter with that design.
But this design is truly worthy of the name Meta Knight

How'd you manage to get the wings so thin without them collaps - oh no wait. Did you wait for them to dry a bit first before sticking them on...?

Thanks! This type of clay has to be baked. Even letting it harden a bit on it's own doesn't really help much. I baked them separately, then glued them on.
