(this was done a couple years ago for video class... but i don't remember ever posting it here o.o)

Steps translation:

1. Chose and match the colors you will use

2. Use selections to quickly fill the shapes. (use magic wand on the lineart, then chose selection - modify - expand, and expend it one or 2 pixels. on a lower layer, fill the selection with color)

3. Place the shading. Be careful to put shading on a separate layer, just like base colors and lineart.

4. Soften the shading with the smudge tool. Complete shading with gradient tool.

5. Back light adds volume to your shading. You can soften the light the same way you did before.

To cut the unnecessary color, select the outside of your base color shape, then move to your shading layers and cut.

6. Once your done shading, You can use the filter "Gaussian blur" to make your picture softer.


in the end, the secret to fast coloring is selections.

lol merci... mais le fichier vidéo lagait et était mal rendu.. tu sais faire le rendu de ce truc avec une résolution aussi pourie m'a pris 5h?!XD come technique cest efficasse, mais come vidéo c'est nulicime malhaureusement
