Rant aheadAlthough I am not able to afford to make high-quality costumes. Although I may not have the so-called "figure" to cosplay certain characters, I do it for fun and thats all that matters.
To insult someone's physical apperance and such, that is just fucking low and it makes you nothing but a superficial bitch.
This stamp is dedicated to those who love cosplaying regardless of weight, race, how much quality the costume has, etc As long as I feel like the char, thats all I care about

Awe - this really makes me feel better. I'm an overweight, budget cosplayer, but I put my heart into what I do. I've even been called piggy woman in a video I put up before. It made me not want to be on camera any more, but after being to a con in cosplay and getting a TON super positive feedback, and the amazing mountains of support from my friends, I've kept it up. It is my only outlet, and it helps me keep from being depressed. So, yes. I LOVE cosplay. Thank you for this!!! And thanks to my Kunoichi Cosplay Crew!

I don't think I'm any of these. However, I completely agree with the ideals behind this stamp. 
A friend of mine actually said she hated when people who don't look like the character (in particular, 'fat' chicks) cosplay them.
I told her off; because they were having fun. They're not hurting anyone. What's the deal?
Also, a similar matter would be that there are little to no "black" anime characters. And picking on someone for that is also bad (as well as racist.)

I AGREE! Just because of someone's weight doesn't mean they can't cosplay! I HATE IT when people say you can't cosplay because of your weight! I just want to punch that person so hard the person would get in a coma when they use WEIGHT against you! I HATE IT!
