This one, too, just has loads of character within the simplest swirls and shapes. The unusual theme is just wonderfully rendered. The art-nouveau homage is beautifully done, too.

He's one of my faves of the last century, too. I'm really happy to find an artist who makes use of the style in her own distinctive way, without overtly imitating it.

It's really beautiful, and I love the shapes and the colors and the flowy. <3 And I like that she doesn't have a face. If she did, I think she'd be too detailed in comparison to her suitor, you know? But yeah - as a rule, I like mermaids with webbed fingers. ^ ^ I also like that her belt-type-thing is the same colour as his tentacle things. Aaaand her tail. And hair. And his body shape. And that they're coming out of the frame. And really, I like everything. I'll shut up now. : D
