It’s a good thing Triz did finally vacate N-Cell’s lair (which we found out later was actually his mom’s basement) - (wait, I think I need to underline that: my first supervillain arch-nemesis had created his top-secret superscience lab/holding cell for abducted “dates” in his MOTHER’S BASEMENT which he decorated to look like an underground bunker with FOAM RUBBER “ROCK” WALLS) - because I wasn’t doing such a good job with my newfound fire powers. Not only was I finding it hard to contain the blaze (air is so much friendlier to work with), but it finally reached the containers of chemicals he used in making his robots, their power cells, and the tanks of fuel he used for his drones.

When the big explosion came, I was able to funnel it up and out of the basement and, eh, through the house. I might have burned a hole through Mrs. N-Cell’s lovely home, but at least I was able to disperse the heat and all the fire - down to the last spark - up and away from the rest of the house and the neighborhood. It only took seconds.

Was this really a new “power set” I would be able to call on in the future? And if so, would I ever get better at it?
