I don’t usually remember my dreams but, when I do, they’re always the same. For most of it I’m falling (that’s pretty typical, yeah?).

And then it’s nothing but wind and smoke.

Fire and sand.

And a voice that sounds soooo familiar but I can’t place saying, “Another chance. To do more. To do better...”

My friend Ree says she has recurring dreams about snorting lines of Pop Rocks in the bathroom of classic mid-Seventies Studio 54 with the My Little Ponies. Those dreams annoy her.

But me? I’d trade in a second.

Oh, that came off angsty, didn’t it? Don’t worry, I’m fine, really! And, though I look a little discombobulated (thank you, Word-A-Day app!) here, I promise you I’m a pretty happy person! Maybe too happy, according to some.
