Description

Five days out of the week I always check in at the Steamed Bean Coffee Shop on my way to work. One reason is I need my coffee. NEED my coffee. But, also, it’s where my best friend Ree Feltner works. Her classic rock loving parents named her Rhiannon after a Fleetwood Mac song but, like me, she prefers to chop that moniker down into a bite-size chunk. Ree is amazing and one of the all-time most awesome humans!

She works opening shift at the coffee shop so she can attend her evening classes at UCEM. She’s working towards a masters in Linguistic Anthropology, specializing in something called Cryptophilology (which is a thing, apparently!). She’s brilliant and snarky and very into otaku culture and cosplay (you didn’t think that was her natural hair, did you?).

One thing she isn’t is a morning person.

She looks cranky here but that’s probably just because - as she tells me often - I’m a bit much to take at 7:30 AM.
