Mood Stone was created in Homeworld as a experiment. Their goal was to make a gem that could change its color and camouflage into its environment... They successfully created Mood Stones by breaking down "useless" agates and quartz crystals into a fine paste-like liquid, and capsuling it into what will become to be known as Mood Stone. The experiment was a success, and a failure, As the gem could change its color, but it was easily tempered and changed by the gems emotions. They learn that the gem itself has nearly no control on what color she would be.
Moody fled Homeworld and was found by Selenite, Over time, She joined Crystal to be with the rest of the morningstern gems.

Her "Summon" is a awkward combination of weapons of the gems that make her up, Most Mood Stones cannot summon.
She can tell what another person's emotion is through touch, If she rested a hand on another, Her hand would change colors to match the emotion of what the person is feeling.
