Description

This is the finished Mewtwo. It has taken me waaay too long to finish this. Life has this wonderful tendency to get in the way. This is also the first fully digital painting I've finished from concept to completion that isn't related to work or based on one of my pencil drawings.

The idea is that his burst out from the clone tank shattered the glass and he basically killed all of the scientists in the room, hence the dead guy and blood everywhere. It took me forever to figure out how to properly do the hands (the big psychic fire vs. aura discussion with my wife), and how to do the wet skin, which I assure, was a pain in the ass.

Anyways, hope you enjoy! I think that I'm going to step away from Pokemon for a while, work on some portraits.
