Description
In my view the media greatly makes us want to change how we look from make up to body size etc.
We try and strive to conform to standards which in magazines are unrealistic and helped by tricks of light and Photoshop.
We are all unique in our looks; tall, short, curvy, skinny, so why try to look like someone else rather than being yourself.
Don't try to perfect your imperfections, embrace them, they are what make you who you are.

True shit! As a guy I don't know how women feel about this sort of stuff. But I am into lifting weights so I like to build myself up for sure! There's a lot of dumb shit in fitness magazine and stuff. Guys like taking all sorts of dumb steroids too.
I don't think "be yourself" is the way to go at things. I think it's "be the best version of yourself". Everybody is constantly evolving day by day. You have the potential for control. As a person it's up to you to decide where your evolution is destined. Think lightly of yourself and deeply of the world. There's a big difference between vanity and pride. If your a dumb steroid abuser who builds muscle for vanity then you have the potential to change through embracing your pride deep down and dropping them.

I don't really know too much about the weight lifting world or steroid usage so it's interesting to hear your view on the matter~

Very well done work of art. I like how the idea is portrayed.
I'm actually trying to come up with something similar for my art class; we were given the theme "social justice" and I chose to create art based on the theme of body shaming. It's a bit hard to do without doing anything obvious (I was brainstorming ideas for severely underweight animals being "perfect" and healthy ones being looked down upon) and honestly seeing this in my notifications gives me the confidence to make the art I've been planning for this class.
You really have very strong skills in both art and message. I hope to see art that is just as powerful in the future.
