I know!! Which is why I'm worried about the DC (re)boot...I know a lot of lesser known but loved characters are going to simply...vanish 
That sort of "forgotten status" is also probably why I get reeeeeally happy when new Vigilante (Greg Saunders) or Shining Knight (the original Justin, not that female) goes up, especially in JLU Timm style...also at times Booster and Beetle (Ted, not Jaime)...
