Done for a sketchblog featuring a bunch of very talented ex-Kubert students. Just joined them this past week after graduating and moving back home, so you can expect at least one new piece of art a week for now on... but hopefully more. Check out the blog here: [link]Anyway, this character is a Grant Morrison creation. He combined the Doctor Fate character with Doc Savage, so I went for that old school Doc Savage cover look. The types not great and the coloring's rushed (hey, it was for a sketchblog, go easy on me) but I'm sure I'll go back and fix it up some when I get a chance.

This was added in 2011. His skin color wasn't revealed until a few months ago. If I had known in 2011, it would've been correctly done.

I wanted to go to that school. I begged my parents to send me but we never had enough money so I had to teach myself. A lot of great artist came outof that school and you're one of them. This proofs it.
