Description Page Two of five of my final Narrative Art class assignment. This was pretty difficult. I was never really interested in drawing the X-Men, for one thing, but also the plot we were given was ridiculous. It was very off balance. And there were lots of scene changes that sometimes it's really hard to convey in the art and you just pray the average reader will realize what's actually occurring.

But yes, the Danger Room changes page to page and while it's cool to draw such a variety of things, it's quite a chore in story telling. Enter the Savage Land. Weee, dinosaurs.

Sauron! Classic Neal Adams design. Gahh, I loved Claremont's first run of issues. Shame he started repeating himself every 30 issues or so.

I picked up the Essential edition-- 20+ issues, black and white on cheap-but-not-crap paper, £11. Awesome buy.
