Nice work...it has a kind of surrealistic look to it, which I like.

I think the effect of volumetric rays is pretty good here, I've never trie dit on a scene this small in scale (unless this whole forest is huge in the Vue world but everything being in-scale to each other makes it seem normal again ) nice lighting

Thanks!

The scene was scaled up A LOT to get the god rays working(ish). No amount of ariel perspective wanted to give me what I wanted.

Did you know the actual scientific term for them is "crepuscular rays"?

No I didn't - you learn something new every day (although my pronunciation of it may never be perfected)!

No wonder e-on software chose to use the term 'god-rays' in it's Vue app.

Yeah, it does sorta sound like some kind of disease/affliction, doesn't it?
Crepuscular has to do with twilight, or twilight like, and there has to be particulate matter in the air (dust/smoke/smog) to enable the visible rays.

Good job. The trees look a bit short in comparison to the grass or vice verse though!
But cool in all.

Thanks. The tree was the usual cherry tree (and they do seem short - but nice cover for distant forests) and I've remedied that with a little purchase.

Hopefully my future offerings will be a little more accurate as well as (hopefully) being visually appealing.

You have amazing work by the way - incredibly amazing! ...so thanks for taking the time to look and comment!
