Speedpaint.. ish. Done about an hour in OC and Adobe, but then I went back in doubt, realizing that I really don't know what an asari is supposed to look like. To be honest I started thinking about TankGirly's avatar somewhere along the line.. I don't know a damn thing about Mass Effect, but the canadiennes have been showing me pictures of their awesome alien friends, so I wanted to draw them. Amazing alien species design, don't you think?Enjoy!

I love the feeling behind this one, the softly wary expression on her face. Beautiful, but cautious.
If I might offer an opinion, I think the left eye is too bright (too much sclera showing, and the iris isn't outlined as heavily as its mate). But the painterly technique is very nice, and you clearly have a good sense of bone structure and facial anatomy.

Thank you. I was experimenting with a texture-y look. I had fun drawing it, at least. Now that I actually played the game, I realize that asari actually don't have eyebrows. Woops.
You know, I really like your icon. I think I have seen you commenting somewhere before, because your icon sticks out in my memory. Cool. Great colors.

Hey, wow, thank you! No one has asked for a tutorial before. (It is probably for the best.) I am still learning, myself, but I would be happy to share some advice in the future. I tried to look on my drive for earlier stages of this particular one, but I just made it all at once, wasn't really paying attention to what I was doing.
