No. This is just a testament to how truly evil Gru was. He hired the minions out as cheap labor on all these different projects and this is the result..

Not sure...these are pretty iconic. Most of my favorite villains from 80s toons didn't have cool bases. Big Boss from C.O.P.S. just had a penthouse and I guess Miles Mayhem from M.A.S.K. and Megatron just moved around a lot.

A good one would have been Dr. Claw's castle.

I think the one with the red symbols is actually a Cobra Base. Megatron didn't want the yellow beings in his base since he deemed them inferior to Cybertronians...and in a way, he was right. The Cons kept on stepping on the things.

Lower left is the Terror Drome from G.I. Joe, above that is the Tecnhodrome from TMNT, in the middle is the Hall of Doom from the Superfriends, upper right is Snake Mountain from He-Man, and below that is Mumm-ra's pyramid from Thundercats.

- Krang's Technodrome (from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
- The Legion of Doom's Headquarters (from Challenge of the Superfriends)
- Snake Mountain (from Masters of the Universe)
- Mumm-Ra's Black Pyramid (from Thundercats)
