Description This is one of my earliest works, being made in 2009.

I wanted to make some provoking photo-manipulations for photography class, criticizing the serious side effects of smoking.
I don't quite remember why I chose this idea to be realized but I still think it looks kinda cool. Though, the effect still looks like in some strange B-Movie.^^

imo the hand where it meets the ashes is kinda plain...

OMFG! having such great comments on a pic I wasn't actually THAT satisfied with... it just blows my mind!^^

Pretty cool, at first I thought that I would have liked if the color of the arm was gray in the lower part but natural colored further up, but I think a more or less completely grey are fits the message better.

This decision was bothering me in the process of making it just the same. But I chose to let it look more pale and thus more sickly and doomed.

Yeah, smoking really get's intense these days, especially when you see little children of 8 or 9 taking a "breath of death".
