Reality. How does it feel?Oh, Breeze, you little wiseass.
Your sassy and witty moments and your little cheeky bird smirk make me giggle. And LOL at Flare for sweating through the entire comic. 
Anyways, a quick comic and coloring job. For 's comic contest, you know? ...I kinda wasn't planning on entering, but this was a nice break from working so hard on Blizz's contest entry. That, and it's funny. I need more comic page practice anyways. I don't do enough comics, and I'm supposed to eventually be a graphic novelist?!
Quick paraphrase of a background for those who are lost: Asa was a human and became a Pokemon for unknown reasons. She's the main character of Enigmatic Star. Flare found her in the woods, and Breeze is actually a longtime friend from the human-Pokemon world. As you can tell, a good night's sleep wasn't enough for her to accept the reality of the situation.
All ES characters, their personalities and scripting belong to me.
Pokemon and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon concepts belong to Nintendo.

It works in the comic, as well as with the saying "reality bites". Well in my head it does anyway...

I really like the simple coloring, yet the background is detailed enough that it looks good and not half-assed. :3 I just wanna note that sometimes, on your side-views of Asa, her snout/chin looks really... the only way I can think of to put it is 'vertical'. It looks fine on the last panel, but weird on the others.
Flare's expressions also win.

Even though Flare sweats throughout the entire thing, it was done well..it didn't look overly used. XD if that makes sense.

No, it makes sense. She's wearing different expressions for each, which may be the reason it's not overly used or doesn't seem so. Maybe?
