At last, this piece is complete!Alright. Comission for . For $15 she got just about as many hours of labor and love for this piece. ;D
The character? Aytrianti Vactry. She's a kickass wild-dragon-phoenix-human hybrid, daughter to a lower chieftain for a small village at the foot of an active volcano. She's got longass hair, purply mauve pink eyes, and beautiful wings. Oh, and a strong tail. She's pretty in dragon form, evidently, too. She's really shy and withdrawn, though. She'd rather bury herself in fighting for the army rather than facing and helping people by talking to them back home. Silly girl.
Weeeeeell, I'm rather poor at cell shade, I've noticed, but she wanted a more anime-esque style of a picture. (Crazy girl likes my anime stuff. Weirdo.) So, I struggled to get the colors and the smoothness without using (irk) pen tool, because I'm just not used to it. Soft shade plz. Anyways, I am rather proud of how the actual form and pose came out. She really does look like she's ready to stick her longarm into some unprepared soldier. >> I remember the wings being a real pain in my ass. Oh, and the ground, too. I decided that I don't like drawing rocky terrain. Needs practice on that.
I'm not sure if I like how much she pops out from the background. Hmm. Well, the deed hath been done. I don't wanna spend any more time on this.
