Great stuff.. there seem to be a few color isolation shots around now.. becoming a little more popular. the artistic part lies in what object you choose to color. This ones great.. would be a nice print..

I love the composition and presentation of this photo. The winding road always captures the imagination and beckons the viewer to come explore what may lay ahead. The scenery also helps, with the mountains and rocky terrain the engages the eye but also serve to "hide" what is around the bend. Thus, once again, the road beckons for one to discover what lays beyond. But what makes the piece even more eye catching is the the whole B&W nature with the EXCEPTION being the yellow line on the road. The eye never wanders far from the road even though we may stray to take in a bit of the scenery around it, we travel on it to " go farther" to see what lays beyond.

Wow, I just love your comments!
You really understand the view of the photographer
"The eye never wanders far from the road even though we may stray to take in a bit of the scenery around it, we travel on it to " go farther" to see what lays beyond."
This is exactly why I chose this composition!
Thank you so much

I like the idea to desaturate everything accept yellow lines. Generally black&white and red/yellow/blue looks cool. nice work.

I'm not normally one for selective color, but this is cool. looks like there should be headlight blurs there too, and it be in a lexus advertisement.

I love the sellective color of yellow, as it isn't so often the emphasized color. But maybe it's not the color that draws me to this, but what is colored.
A no passing zone.
That sums up my feelings right now.

I would've loved to see the full moon. But this is one lovely image even without it. I love how you left the lines yellow. My eye really travels in this, towards the ranges at the back. I like it when my eye gets to go places.

mark, you keep outdoing yourself.. this is seriously well taken... beautiful work with manipulating color... the way the road curves and disappears to the left, gives the shot a great feel to it... overall, magnificent work.

You bet!
Those roads are the best to drive on, I only wish I had my car out there and not a stupid rental car
But I could drive around that area for weeks!
Thanks alot!
