Hey everyone! So things are starting to slow down and I’m feeling more like myself and so I wanted to show you what I’ve been up to in my silence! 😄

So I finished the painting for my big bros birthday for now, I plan to add glaze and frame it. I’ll post it again once all that is done but I have to wait a few months for the oil paint to dry. I don’t mind though. It’s been fun making this and I hope my big bro loves it too!🥰

The story behind this is I have done something like this before for my brother with his other dog Sparky, called it Sergeant Sparky, it was a different uniform and I did it back in high school. Even though Sargent Sparky still looks decent, so much has happened sense then and I felt an update was needed for my big bros man cave. 🤗

In total I think it took me about 2 weeks if I were to never stop and only work constantly. Irl it took me about a month on on and off work. Plus I need to think about the dry time between layers which could take upwards 3 to 5 days each. But that’s why I love oil, I take my time and really detail it! 😋
