Description
Watercolour painting with pen detailing of Nix from inFamous 2Basically painted in washes of watercolours and then once dry,i used a ballpoint and fineliner to add detail. Tried out a new style also.
So I havent done any Fanart in Ages!!!!
and i havent used watercolours in a while.Doing this was relaxing,just painting a female figure from one of my fav games. (Im loving the series)I need a more practice with watercolours and with painting people.
Anyway,up next, an acrylic portrait of Lady Gaga

So far Iv only drawn Sasha and Nix...I havent drawn all of the characters.I think about the games alot and wanted to do a bigger work with most of the characters in it, perhaps i will end up doing one! Maybe a bit more along the line of the comic book style or maybe stick to my own

Ah neat, I can see how that would help, maybe studying the inFamous style of comics can help too. You know the ones they use for the cutscences.

and yeah,very little Nix and general infamous artwork out there. i mean i have seen little or no artwork of Bertrand for an example.

yea i can't believe inFAMOUS 1 & 2 are so under rated *in terms of people buying them* i loved the games,i'll admit i liked the second one better..
but in terms of fanart i really wish people would do more!! ironically enough i'm starting to draw Bertrand lol and my god hes a bitch to draw!! (and i'm going off the comic cutaways..) but what i would love to draw is that Freedom and Security propaganda poster! i find that so badass..but i have no real reference T_T

yea with the motion capture and basing New Marais on New Orleans,just beautiful.Yea i've tried drawing it but it never looks right..granted the guy is difficult enough to draw lol but yea you should draw them all!

well,you have to have an online connection and i think a psn account? but the content is free,you just have to download it,its usually around the first devour battle
