Gah beat me to it!

Nah, yours was considerably better. Both in composition and technically. The huge tonal range is a little offputting, but then, her in the light and him in the shadows emphasises the characters for me

Great work

Thank you

I thought your tight crop of the homeless guy was good too, as for the huge tonal range, that almost stopped me posting it. However, street photography is about capturing the moment and I think an allowance can be made for this. I also like the fact that the homeless guy is in the dark and she is in the light too

This may be the start of things to come for us both, your shot was great too

This made me teary...and if I weren't at work right now, I'd probably be bawling like a baby. Granted, for the past week now I have been feeling very...raw, emtionally. This pic carries- for me- a lot of weight, and beauty. I can say no more...well done.

Thank you so much for that comment. I aimed to stir up a little emotion in people when posting this shot, and I think I achieved that. This picture is also quite a happy picture too. Its got so many different emotions going on that it makes me feel alsorts

Beautiful photo : ) It shows the contrast between the innocence of youth and the hardened reality that this world can bring.

or to me it does.

Great shot.
