Genruptens lives and sleep in the magma chamber of volcanoes. It is never seen unless it is protecting Kasaltics and Tarteatiles, searching for food or its mating season. Genruptens are super protective of Kasaltics and Tarteatiles that it has been known to cause the volcano to erupt since its strength and wrath is equivalent to an earthquake going off. While the volcano is erupting, Genruptens will gather Kasaltics and Tarteatiles so they can all retreat to the magma chamber to wait until the eruption is over. Genrupten's body is known to contain metal tungsten. It eats rocks, magma and minerals to produce more layers of metal tungsten on its shell. The spikes on its body are regarded to be one of the hardest metals of all Steel-type Pokemon. Genrupten is the only Pokemon capable of learning Metal Eruption and Magma Spray.
