Marverran Zangooses are known to be territorial. Just like its Hoenn counterpart, Marverran Zangoose has a bitter rivalry with Marverran Sevipers. No one is sure why. If these two Pokemon come across each other, the trees, plants and ground are wrecked. People can tell when there has been a battle between these two as the most common sign are trees that have been cut down and have scratches on them. Marverran Zangoose cares for trees, but forgets about that duty when it sees Seviper. The good thing is that it has nutrients in its arms, body and left ear that help trees grow. During a thunderstorm, Marverran Zangoose becomes extremely active and if hit by lightning, it is unaffected. The lightning provides it with extra energy that allows it to work faster in caring for the forest. It is the only Pokemon capable of learning Lightning Claws.
