Mosstagia is considered to be a direct descendant of Xerneas. Many people stare in awe at Mosstagia because of its splendor. The moss, lotus, mushrooms, wisteria leaves, flowers and grass on this Pokemon said to contain healing properties that can heal any sickness, disease and mental illness, and they are also believed to grant a little bit of longevity. This Pokemon watches over the forest with other Pokemon and can restore nature. The gem on Mosstagia's forehead and neck radiate positive energy that make Pokemon and humans around it peaceful and happy. Mosstagia will protect other Pokemon in the forest and lay its life down for other Pokemon and humans that it trust. The lotus on its head and wisteria leaves on its branchlike antlers absorb moonlight making them glow at night, and allow Mosstagia to fight off intruders in the forest, purify people, plants, trees and Pokemon, and fight off dark forces. It is the only Pokemon capable of learning Moss Guard and Aura Glow. Aura Glow is a move where the wisteria leaves on Mosstagia glow brilliantly in white-purple-pink colors that harm its enemies and cleanses allies.
