Raincloud—Former Wonderbolt who seems cool and confident, but it probably more in tune with her emotions and more airheaded than she likes to admit. She’s hilariously supportive to the point of embarrassing for her family members, and sometimes gets a little competitive with her husband over that support.

Family--Blazing Silver (husband), Nimbus and Cirrus (twin son and daughter)

Red Sonnet—A lawmaker who’s quite sensitive, imaginative and poetic, often dipping into the writing arts in his free time and submitting them under a pen name. He’s quite the clever and eloquent fellow, having once escaped pirates alongside his future wife without hurting anypony.

Family--Navy Stardust (wife), Harbor Tide (son), Purple Prose (daughter), Violet Verses (youngest daughter)

Rich Custard—Respectable, polite owner of a creams company. As intelligent and good at multitasking as he is, he also tends to be kind of oblivious about what goes on in his home and gullible over matters of raising his daughter (doesn’t help that he was often busy with his job).

Ringaling—Despite being a wonderful babysitter adored by the neighborhood foals and a gifted artist, she’s pretty much a complete idiot in every other subject. A grasp on even elementary school level concepts is out of reach for her, and sometimes the kids she watches end up having to correct her on simple stuff. She often becomes suddenly competent when her charges are in danger, only to go back to being a moron after the danger has passed. She is a mysterious mare…

Roanie—Named for her coat pattern, she’s a bloodthirsty bandit out to rob and murder those that she considers “privileged”, thinking that they’re all the same as her parents and their social circle. If by some miracle she saves you instead of leaving you for dead, then she expects to be repaid.

Rocky Road—A serious and down-to-earth colt that can only tolerate nonsense because of his wacky family. He was typically a loner, and one of those that it was unwise to mess with. Super strong, having a connection with geology, and preferring a simple life, there was no doubt that he’d grow up to be a rock farmer.

Family--Cheese Sandwich (father), Pinkie Pie (mother), Pizza Pockets (II) and Fudge Fondue (older twin brother and sister), Berry Blast (younger brother), Cheesecake Chase (younger sister)

Rounda Applause—An actress who has a tendency to be overdramatic and concerned with appearances. While she has always tried to be responsible, both with siblings growing up and her children as an adult, she has a problem with getting caught up in flights of fancy. She loves acting out a good story.
