Redd's Bio:
Redd is that tough kid on the playground that everyone knows not to mess with. Being a super-serious grouch, he has a knack for keeping everyone in order wherever he goes, and if anyone dare try to be funny and get a hit in on the pipsqueak, he'll quickly put them in a chokehold and make them cry "uncle". He's a stickler for the rules and lets everyone know it, and even sometimes wakes his siblings early in the morning so that they have enough time to get ready for school. He's even got a collection of plans for just about any incident that could happen. There's a reason why the family refers to him as a little drill sergeant.

However, he is still a little kid. Much of his "training" is just running around the playground and swinging on monkey bars, or imitating what his favorite big brother Ralf does in his workouts (to be fair, Redd is pretty strong for his age, so he's doing something right). He has too much fun with his remote control planes, helicopters, and drones, as well as his water and nerf guns (not to mention he's a bit of a reckless driver on his ride-along jeep). And goodness does he love playing in the mud! It's even more fun with a playmate.

Even though he's grumpy and bossy, Redd also has a sense of honor and integrity to him. He will stand up for the weak and try to help them get stronger, even if he's a little rough with the process, and he's very loyal to those he loves. He's a dutiful student, a protective brother, and an avid listener of his war veteran grandfather's stories and wisdom. He does intend to join the military when he's old enough, because above all else, he does want to serve his country.

Reed's Bio:
Reed is chill as all get-go. Preferring to go off to the side and meditate, what he values most is peace--both inside and out. Often, when seeing a fight going on, he wonders why we all can't just get along. At times, he'll try to mediate and stop a fight, but it only works half the time, with the other half resulting in Redd having to rescue him. The fact that he also makes "weird art", wears weird clothes, and plays with plants put a target on his back, with only the ever-intimidating Redd looming to keep those bullies at bay.

But, as much as Reed observes others' behavior and will call it out, a lot of his own behavior is very frustrating for the adults to deal with. He'll wander off school grounds to go deeper into nature, start a boycott against the lunch room because they're serving meat, and stand up on his desk to preach about unfairness in the middle of social studies. He doesn't like baths or haircuts or cleaning up messes because what's the point when he's gonna get dirty, his hair's gonna grow, and the room will be messy again. It usually takes a metaphor involving Rory's diaper to make him get it... but, he's still not gonna cut his hair, because screw arbitrary appearance standards, and he's not gonna be controlled by The Man.

Still, Reed doesn't usually like to offend people. He often tries to be nice, though sometimes that's hard for him when he disagrees with someone. He'll be happy to care for someone when they're sick or injured, and he's always eager to try out some herbal remedies or healthy dishes that he and his mom looked up. And he's got his own sense of style that the others just tolerate (well, most of the time, sometimes he wears complete eyesores that make Raph cry). And despite how annoying his siblings find him, they'll at least humor him when he points out when they're frivolously wasting water and energy.

Their relationship overall:
It's complicated. Redd can't stand Reed's casual dismissal of rules and standards in place and his self-righteousness, while Reed can't stand Redd's bossiness and over-compliance to the law of The Man. They argue a lot, that's for sure, such as when Reed tried to ban all meat and dairy from the house, because "animals are people", only for Redd to ban the fruits, vegetables, and grain, with the retort, "plants are people, too" (everybody else overruled them and got their food back).

Still, it should say something that Redd doesn't just abandon his twin brother to the bullies, and Reed does know of Redd's softer side and is willing to try to coax it out and get him to relax. After all, they're still willing to sit together in the car or just about anywhere, and they can often be seen playing in the mud together or having a swim together... heck, once Reed convinced Redd to make a tie-dye shirt, and Redd taught Reed how to use a slingshot.

All in all... it's a weird love-hate relationship.

Random Fact: When it comes to dinner, they typically sneak food onto each other's plates; Redd gives his veggies to Reed, and Reed gives his meat to Redd.
