Ryan takes his role as the eldest son of the Rowdy family seriously, taking on the role of the responsible, dutiful exemplar for his younger siblings to look up to (and probably grumble about behind his back). He is very much an overachiever, getting straight A's, diving into extra credit for the heck of it, tutoring his siblings and classmates, volunteering in charity work, and participating in extracurricular activities such as piano, chess club, and the debate team. While usually a nice and helpful fellow, stress has a way of getting him testy, and taking advantage of his weariness will result in him reminding everyone why he's essentially the second "Dad" of the family.

In his free time, Ryan could usually be seen with his nose in a book. Whatever genre there is, you can bet that Ryan has read it. Asking him what his favorites are would probably short-circuit his brain, as he's read too many that he loves; it's easier to ask him what he hates (for instance, he can't stand supernatural romance novels). He's been teased for being a huge nerd, but his experience with a large family makes him tougher than he looks, so bullies will back off once they see Ryan's bad side.

Thanks to his hectic schedule, Ryan tends to be a little socially awkward and has only made a few friends that are thankfully incredibly loyal... and just as dorky as he. He doesn't even consider dating--which is a shame, because a lot of girls think he's cute. Perhaps one of these days he'll notice a girl and find her cute, but he's content with being single for now.

Random Fact: He loves seafood. Typically, his lunch will involve some kind of fish.
