Description I did Adam/He-Man, and now it's time for his sister, Adora/She-Ra!

Much like her brother, I spent some months trying to come with with a She-Ra design. Finally settled on one that's pretty close to the classic, with some minor details here and there that make it a little different. Adora did have a couple tweaks before I was satisfied--I did initially plan to give her long hair, but since I'm going with the Despara thing where she started off with a buzzcut, I had to see what she looked like with shorter hair (since hair does take a bit to grow), and well... I like the short hair. And of course, the sword that transforms with her.

And here's the AU Origin, drawing from the various iterations (but with a couple twists of my own):

When she and Adam were born, the Royal Family opted not to announce it, since it was in the middle of a coup by King Randor's half-brother, Keldor. However, somehow the traitorous brother learned of this, and kidnapped the babies, taking them to an old Horde temple. Randor and his guard managed to rescue Adam, but it appeared that Adora was sacrificed to a strange batlike spirit, and everyone that knew of the babies thought she was dead (aside from the Sorceress). Thus, the kingdom only knows of Prince Adam.

However, in reality, the 'sacrifice' was just the baby being handed off to Hordak, who decided that she'd make a great super soldier.

Fast forward around twenty years later, the Horde makes a big enough portal for a full-on invasion of Eternia, with the warrior dubbed 'Despara' leading the charge. They would capture the Heroic Warriors, including Adam (who had so much trouble finding a place to transform in the chaos), who finds himself having a weird connection with the scary lady, which he's trying to figure out while he's imprisoned in the Fright Zone on Etheria. By the time Orko (who was one of the few that escaped) arrives with not only Adam's sword, but another one that the Sorceress told him to take, Adam comes to the conclusion that his twin sister's not dead--she's that Despara lady!

The next time that Despara shows up, he tries to convince her, and while she at first refuses to believe it, magic from the other sword unlocks infant memories and she's reeling from that. However, Orko notices Hordak coming, and proceeds to zap Adam out of there... along with Despara.

The twins end up in the Whispering Woods, where Despara ends up learning more about the other side of the fight.

Obviously, by the end of this story, she'll take on the name of Adora, and transform into She-Ra. That's the gist of the story in my head.
