Not the Defenders of Trolla--that thing comes later in this timeline and involves more beings than just Trollans.

Here, have an elite team of talented wizards that fight off threats to the common Trollan. Montork (guy in red on top) was a member of this team (well, the team that covered his home state, Nosmirc) as a young man, his strength being his intelligence and clever adaptability. This, along with his friendly demeanor and humility, had the Crimson Council interested in him as a potential future Council member. Though, all Montork ever wanted to do was teach magic at the Academy (which was his job when there wasn't a Defenders mission), and protect his family (his little sister Ilyne and his wife Esso). He eventually decided to quit the Defenders.

Sadly, the team ended up falling in one of Trolla's darkest weeks--the Five Days of Wrath, when the Unnamed Order released their newest 'Destroying Angel' after a long time of rebuilding their organization. It took Trolla by surprise, and many were killed before the Overlords could activate the Storm Spell to get rid of the DA. Montork lost most of his friends and family--his friend Zelmra (the guy in green and brown on the bottom) was the survivor of the Defenders, while his baby nephew Orko was the surviving family.

The Defenders (all branches in all Trollan States) have since been defunct. Usually some vigilante will take care of a monster attack or rogue sorcerer these days (an adult Orko taking up a lot of these challenges prior to his encounter with the cosmic storm).
