I think I prefer an AU where these two are father and daughter.

Ram Man's the usual tough, dimwitted but good-hearted tank of the Heroic Warriors, though he's a doting father to his girl. As a veteran of the Great Unrest and Keldor's attempted coup, he's still close friends with the other older Warriors, including King Randor and Duncan, hence how his daughter is friends with Adam and Teela.

I tried to make Ram Ma'am's outfit more like something you'd see in a more classic version of Eternia. Dunno how well I succeeded in that task, but hey, it looks pretty good to me.

Now, with the setup of Ram Man being the dad and the setting being in a more classic version of Eternia, that would make our girl Krass'tine's story quite different from what the CGI show had for her. While I'm still stirring it up in my brain, what I do have is that through a misadventure in Zalesia, she finds the Ram Stone (in this personal iteration, it's magenta because of magic ideas I'm thinking about), and uses it as a powerup to ram into things more effectively. While it's cool at first, the faceless phantom that resides in Zalesia does not want her to have it, and tries to warn her against using it, but she still goes home with it, not realizing what kind of magic the gem really holds...

Also, I adopted a half-Rock Person headcanon from someone on Tumblr, so while it's not applicable to the CGI show, it's totally applicable to this AU. It might lead to her meeting the Comet Warriors at some point, but I've yet to figure out how it happens. All I've got is that they help her purge the dark magic the Ram Stone had been feeding her body for months, teach her rock person stuff, and then return her home.
