Bur: life above ground is too rough for some Roaches. Some prefer living beneath the dirt, burrowing out long, elaborate tunnels to live in.
Squ: Roaches are resilient. Not even having a rock dropped on its head can stop them. Some Squoach have been seen carrying large, heavy boots instead.
Lite: this pokemon seems to resemble a similar creature, but many of the pokemon world have no idea what that creature could possibly be.
Reap: after being sprayed one too many times with Roach Away, a Roach has taken it upon itself to turn the tables on its attackers.
Armour: it is hard for a Roach to see from behind the suit of armour it carries, so only the most skilled Roach can make it as an Armouroach.

Bur: actually quite speedy, but mostly a physical attacker.

Name origin:
Bur: burrow roach
Squ: he’s been squooshed
Lite: it is a literal roach
Reap: reaper roach, but also like reproach
Armour: it’s wearing a suit of armour
Design: Burroach is a digger roach with a drill face. Squoach is because when people see roaches, the first thing we tend to think is usually “SQUISH IT NOW”. Reaproach is the same, except with fly spray. Cockroaches are bugs, so for the bug type I wanted to do basically a regular cockroach. Armouroach is self-explantory.
