Meet 897! He is the resident bird flyer. (Yes. There are birds in my 9 AU. There's a bunch of stuff explaining that, but not now.)
897's many stitches, patches, and missing eye were due to a tragic event involving a flock of angered mother birds...
Despite the tragedy, 897 doesn't blame the birds, and still cares for them.
He is the designated guardian to 901 for his calm, mature and responsible behavior. (That, and for the fact that she drags him along on her adventures...)
897's known for being the voice of reason, and the savior for a number of mishap adventures.
He is a master bird flyer, and is willing to teach others how too, that is, as long as they follow all the rules in both caring the birds and the safety guidelines.
