Eeek... yeah, sorry... don't know much about elements, especially on a Mac
Though lately I've contemplated the idea of getting a Mac because of all the photography I do and just being able to edit faster and easier on a Mac

hahahaha... now that's funny
It's actually a bit of a pain... I write the tutorial in MS Word, export to PDF, then from Adobe Acrobat Pro, I export to JPEG with a set pixel density of 150px/in (so all images are the same size )
Then I create a new blank image in photoshop that is the width of one image, and the length of all images combined
tada... that's it

Are you aware of a way to apply watermarks like this in a batch fashion? Also, how would you do this in a "free" photoshop alternative like GIMP?

Batch... no unfortunately... I'm sure there might be a way... but I prefer do it by hand anyway... not all images are the same... so I like to place my signature where it fits best... I save it as a .png and just open it and add it to my images when I need it
I've never used gimp, but i'm sure the process is similar... If you'd like I can download it and do up a tutorial specific to it... Let me know

If you wouldn't mind I would appreciate it. But I don't want to impose on you if you have better things to do

Good idea for a tutorial Stephen.
I just a plain old boring watermark, but I make sure it's not obtrusive!

I don't think anyone can stand the DA watermark. Β This tutorial really helped me as I've been looking to use a new watermark. Β My only problem is that I use Adobe Lightroom 5, and I can only figure out how to make simple text only watermarks. Β

Yeah, the one you use is good... I just did this for people that don't have a good one, or wanted to learn how to do it in Photoshop
