Description Now that I have a much better camera & lenses then I did years ago I decided to re-take some new pictures using the same idea I had of taking pictures of our snakes with apple.  I can't believe the difference that having a better camera & better lenses has made in my photos.  I decided to use our male Banana Cinnamon Ball Python for this series with a red apple to compare.  Just thought I'd share some of the pictures that I took with you all. Hope you enjoy these photos of my handsome boy

GREAT shot.  The coloration of the snake makes a lovely contrast to the color of the apple.

I have a lighter colored snake as well (lavender morph corn snake) and I love photographing her on a dark background.  It really makes her colors pop.

And yes, a better camera and lens can make all the difference.  Enjoy playing!

Thanks   Nope, he actually does quite well.  I just placed him with the apple and let him go all over it until I got the shots (I did the same with the female Leopard Mojave Ball Python and apple photo series).  I have been introducing him to new things all the time in order to get him more comfortable with new objects (I do the same with all my critters).  This time I just decided to take picks of him with the new object (this time the new object being the apple).
