8 inch aluminum circle with copper symbol. Hand riveted with solid aluminum rivets.My kids watch this show... and I love it too. It is Firefly set in the Star Wars universe...

Thanks! I'm not really sure how I got the patina... only because I did too many things to it. I have Copper sulfate solution, Copper sulfate + salt, "aluminum black", and gun blueing solution... I also used a wire brush, sandpaper, and steel wool. I just wiped on solutions and attacked it with abrasives until I was happy with the finish... then wiped it down with paste wax.
