Description In this tutorial I share with you my methods for creating resin eyes. These eyes can be used for sculptures, magnets, charms, jewelry, and many other things. One thing that I did not cover in this tutorial was the glazing process. If you are planning on putting these eyes through the oven with your sculpture, DO NOT glaze them beforehand. Any type of glaze can bubble up if it goes through the oven, so make sure to take caution and know your game plan.

Share with me your creations using resin eyes!

Do the eyes follow you when you move from side to side? I'm looking for a way to make my own eyes for a costume I'm going to try making. (velociraptor) but I need to make them like 'cat slit' eyes and they need to be 'following' pupils.

This is a good tutorial, but I have 1 question: the eyes kinda have a blurry surface when they come out; can that be fixed with gloss and/or sanding to make them shiny?

It is natural for them to look a bit foggy at first. The gloss will make them look much better. If you're going to have the resin in the oven at any point in time, however, wait until you're finished baking to put any gloss on (as the heat can make the gloss bubble or warp). Hope this helps!
